Rest and Relaxation
Hi Everyone!
So I'm up at our cabin-just getting a much needed mini vacation with my cute little family. We bought us a little cabin (fixer upper) a year ago and boy are we doing a ton of work on it. I must realize that these are the times for making memories, despite getting lost in the commotion and disorganization of putting a new toilet in. Yes, we will remember the great moment of having a nice warm commode to sit on instead of taking a walk out to the shed where our porta pot lives (the dreaded throne). Something to look back on and say...."remember when we walked for 10 miles, in hip deep snow, up hill both ways to .....oh yea-that was my mothers story. Isn't life easier these days?

Listen & follow your personalized gift of INSPIRATION
I am a huge fan of going by your "gut" feelings. I must admit I have not always trusted my own thoughts. I have done things over and over again that I know are not right-out of plain dumb habit. I need to "quiet my head", pray and ask for inspiration...or an "answer". I truly believe that if we seek after the right things and our heart is pure with good intentions-we will be blessed with true inspiration by simply asking for it. I feel so very blessed that I get this inspiration, in full detail and color-a nice visual, mostly at odd times, such as the wee hours of the morning. How do I "know" for sure it is Divine Inspiration? My answer in simple. If it is positive, helps you and/or others, and you feel very emotionally moved-there is no question in my own mind. I know that we all have the exact same opportunity to receive these precious insights, instructions, answers, directions or even comfort-are we aligned and in tune to receive this awesome gift?
I challenge you all to pray (if you don't believe in prayer-meditate), quiet your mind, focus on something you are needing, struggling with, or desire...listen....listen and keep listening. ASK! ASK! ASK! Your answer or inspiration my come as a small voice, it may be a visual, it may be a "gut feeling"-or it may not even come until later when something (or someone) appears in your life that you need to help "take care" of whatever it is you need or are asking for. It's pretty simple. I think that is why it is so overlooked. I also believe that if we continue to "ignore" or we don't follow our inspired thoughts (or visuals, as in my case) we will not receive them any longer. They are like our muscles-use them or LOSE THEM! This reminds me of a story someone told me about prayer: A young women was frantically looking for a parking space. She was about to be late for a very important interview for a great new job opportunity. She began to pray out loud in her car begging God to help her find a parking spot as she promised Him she would go to church if He would just help her at that desperate moment. All of the sudden, a front row spot became available as the car backed out to free up her opportunity she had prayed for. She was thrilled and exclaimed in prayer-"never mind God-here is a spot, I found one"!
How insensitive and dense are we by not recognizing answers right before our eyes? Open your eyes and your hearts-we are all blessed with so much right in front of us. Remember, we all have the EXACT SAME OPPORTUNITY for Inspiration...recognize it! Follow it! Use it! appreciate it, be grateful for it, and THANK THE SOURCE IN WHICH IT COMES FROM. I can promise you-if you do these things-you will be blessed with whatever inspiration you need when you are ready for it:)

YOU are ONE OF A KIND!
Just a short note tonight-since it's a late night again for me. It is very cool that we, as individuals, are so unique. We were all raised differently, even within the same family! Our experiences are all unique to us..."YOU" and only "YOU" have your experiences. There is nobody...NO ONE..on earth like YOU. How cool is that?
An important lesson I have learned and relearned (over and over!) in my life is...everyone interprets things differently. We cannot know exactly how someone will "take" things we say or do. We can easily offend someone without even intending to do so. This is why we must NEVER judge others...even if they offend us. We all are different, and each of our views of the "world" are different. I need to work on accepting, respecting, and loving the uniqueness of all persons around me-and not be so quick to be offended or upset. What a waste of time and energy to feel and harbor these negative feelings. I love and enjoy the diversity within my circle of family and friends-as well as all people in this WORLD. I feel at home, and at ease, accepting them all...with love...despite the differences. We all do need certain things....love, and each other. That is what we have in common that really counts. That's enough for me.

LOVE "YOU" 1ST!
Good evening.
I'm getting to bed pretty darned late tonight-may have to skip my early morning work out this time. I have been working late at my business to try to clean, organize, streamline, de clutter, and upgrade/network my computers. 25 years worth of just "flying by the seat of my pants" in my business has come to an end. We are now coming up in the world & making sure we are "JIVIN" with the times. How much better will the company run after this overhaul?...IT WILL RUN WITHOUT FLAW as planned... eventually. THEN we can really focus on our "clients" who mean EVERYTHING to us in our business. As important as the clients are to us...we must first take GREAT care & fix up our business.
The same holds true for us as individuals...take extremely good care of YOU FIRST, RESPECT YOURSELF, ORGANIZE YOURSELF, DE CLUTTER, UPGRADE...MOST IMPORTANTLY LOVE YOURSELF FIRST. It sounds very selfish and even "arrogant"...but in order to really focus and take care of others...YOU MUST COME FIRST! How on earth can anyone LOVE you if you don't even LOVE YOU. Would you buy a Mercedes from a salesman who admits and keeps reminding you how much he "hates Mercedes'? Heck- NO WAY! Treat yourself as the Queen or King that you really are! You will find that this really intensifies the LOVE you have for others...your ability to LOVE and TAKE CARE of those around you is EFFORTLESS & ENDLESS. "YOUR" clients mean EVERYTHING to YOU...so go ahead... TAKE TIME FOR YOU. ENJOY!
